ABOUT THE North Shore Aquatic Complex
St. Pete Masters (SPM) home facility is the North Shore Aquatic Complex located in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg. Boasting a 50 meter x 25 yard pool and a 25 meter x 25 yard pool with stunning views of Tampa Bay, the complex is open all year with both pools being heated and cooled to an average temperature of 81- 82 degrees year-round.
11 Coached Workouts per week, with practices offered Monday through Friday in the early morning (5:30-7 am) and late afternoon (4-6:30 pm), plus Sunday mornings (9-10:30 am).

A 50+ YEAR LEGACY AND STILL GROWING
With an annual membership of about 200 swimmers from St. Petersburg and throughout the Tampa Bay region, SPM brings together adults ages 18 and up who share a passion for swimming. Membership is open to swimmers of all experience levels through United States Masters Swimming (USMS), whether you’re returning to the sport, training for competition, or simply looking for a fun and healthy way to stay active.
Founded in 1972, St. Pete Masters (SPM) is one of the oldest and most respected masters swimming clubs in the United States. As a registered non-profit organization governed by an elected nine-member board, SPM has been a driving force in the Tampa Bay masters swimming community for more than five decades—offering high-quality training, strong leadership, and a welcoming team culture.
